Mor Ryde

Has anybody added the Mor Ryde Pinbox and was it worth it?

A big yes to both questions. We drive mostly on California highways....which are perpetually torn up. As the passenger, I am happy we invested in the Mor Ryde system. I noticed a big difference from our previous coach. We had a 3400 without Mor Ryde and just purchased a 3455 with the system. Clearly the trailers are virtually the same size and weight...but the ride is far more comfortable in our new trailer.

Ours came as an option on our 09 34400RL when purchased new and we love it. It cushions those bumps to both the Monty and the TV very well.

You will find many MOCers with the MorRyde. In 2006/2007 the MorRyde pin box became an option on all Montanas and standard on the Big Sky.

I have one and love it.

The DW is able to read while I drive, which is a big improvement from BM(Before MorRyde). Be sure to purchase the pin box weight-rated for your 5er. Jim

What I find interesting is that with the MorRyde pin box, watching in the rear view mirror, the trailer seems to be 'floating' on the pinbox. The hitch itself is still so you know that the MorRyde is absorbing quite a bit of shock and bounce.

Hi new to the forum and have a? about the Mor/ride. We just picked up our 2010 2955RL with the MR hitch susp. and pinbox. WE noticed more sway in the wind than with our previous 5r's without the MR system. We had very little weight in the unit and the tires up to the max inflation. I'm thinking that with more weight in the unit that it will settle down a little any ideas on this?

We had te Mor-Ryde pin box installed early on and it really smoothed out the ride..We recently had the Mor Ryde IS system installed and it really, really, really smooths out the ride.

Phil... When Mor Ryde weighed us out front in preparation for the IS install I nearly toppled over.. "I weigh what???? said I. ??? are you sure this is my camper??? Fortunately they match the IS system to the weight of the camper so we are more than good. We were good at the service center after the install execpt for the tire load ratings execpt for the fact that as far as Keystone is concerned we are what our VIN says 13975 GVWR....not 15,500 with 7K axles.... BUT... I feel better...
