Thanks for that link, it's interesting reading. They are all pretty good trucks aren't they?

But you got the right wife, the right fifth wheel, and the right bird. Three out of four ain't bad!

I drove the Dodge and the Chevy. My test is the only one that counts. Maybe it ain't scientific. But it is where I put my money. Ford won hands down with no questions in my mind at all.

Actually we purchased the Ford after much homework and understood exactly what we were buying. The Ford has the smallest motor, the fewest gears and when loaded for camping is the heavest truck. Lower test results can be expected. It is also the toughest truck and IMO the one best suited for heavy duty towing. We have always purchased what we considered the best truck for our needs at the time..We have had 3 Chevy T.V's and with this 08 Ford.. 3 Ford tv's. They have all served us well and did the job we expected them to do..

Like Stiles I also drove all 3 but in my case Chev/GMC was the choice for me.
All in all, all 3 make good trucks and it's up to the buyer to decide which has the highest ratings. Most every driver is a bit prejudice to a certain manufacturer and this INCLUDES those that are doing these type tests. If they are GM fans they may fudge the GM's numbers and the same thing applies to the Ford and Dodge fans. I take all these "So Called" unbiased tests with a grain of salt.

All 3 are good trucks. I purchased a GM because it was the only one that would, #1 heat the back of the seat without the bottom or both. That helps when driving and your back hurts a little just put on the back section. #2 I could set the temp for 60 on my side and my wife could set hers for 90.

Every body has there reasons for picking one truck over another, rather it be looks, handling, comfort, preformance or price. This test will not change any one's mind on what TV to buy,I had already drove all 3, made my mine up before I seen this test.Like I said before every one of these HD DIESEL'S have there own strong point's.

If I could have what I want it would be the ride of the GM trucks, the body of the Ford and the engine and new transmission of the Dodge. We are all biased to some extent and each of us has close to the perfect truck.
