THE DAY HAS FINALLY COME!

We did it! Got the house rented (unable to sell in current market, will wait a year), the kids all settled, and we are officially on-the-road, starting the newest chapter of our lives! Moved into the Monty on 14 May, Chris retired on 31 May, and we left on 25 June 07. Will be in Sioux Falls on 10 July to become SODAKS, and then the journey continues. It's all done, with the kids, in storage, or to the Veterans. Hard, hard work, but it's done now. Phew! If you are going through this process, hang in there - you WILL get it done!

3 years, 10 months and 3 days to go for us, but who's counting?
We can't wait to feel what you're feeling now.
Lay back and enjoy. See ya' on the road.

CONGRATULATIONS, Chris and Dave. I did this in April myself, went FTing on 25 May. It was a lot of work to downsize from 38 years worth of "stuff". But, as you know, it can be done. Alot of memories went out the garage over 2 weekends but we made it and now are enjoying "the life". See you on the road some day.

Chris and Dave,

We know your excitement! The tough part is over!! Now, try to find a way to slow down for a while....get rid of those watches, todo lists, and anything else that bothers you!

Time to enjoy your new life!

We're thrilled for everyone who is lucky enough to have this lifestyle!

Fantastic!! Welcome to all recent fulltimers to the ranks. My hope is that all of you will experience life more pleasing than you expect. Learning how to play can be difficult for some folks who have worked so hard for so many years. So happy RVing... fulltime...
