First trip in new montana

Packing up the rig to hit the road this afternoon for our shakedown trip in the new 3400. Heading over to Hat Creek on 89(No. CA).
Hope that we find nothing more then we already know about wrong, and that the weather is nice and cool in the mountains. Have a question? How do you drain your fresh water holding tanks, we have found low point drain, but is there a plug to pull on the tank itself to let out water. Our class A had one, but can't seem to find one on the Montana. Thanks Teresa

Teresa, I know you're going to have a wonderful trip. We were in TN and SC last weekend. We didn't have the Monty, but the mountains are so beautiful. Let us know how everything goes and someone will be along to answer your question soon. Enjoy !!

The only way I have found is the low point drain. If there is another way to drain it, I would be interested in finding out also.

On ours there is a drain line at the back on the road side of the trailer. Ours had a cap on the line , so i installed a valve on it. That makes it easier to drain the tank.

Teresa,
I have to unscrew the cap on the low point drain to empty my fresh water tank.

Hope you have a great weekend with the new 3400.
Our fresh water drain is also under the tank with a cap.
Are you staying at the Hereford Ranch? We have never been there, but it is one of the places we want to camp at this year.

Teresa,

Hope you had a great weekend and shakedown trip.

It's been over a year since we have seen mountains in person, so I am kinda jealous.

Looking forward to hearing how you trip went.

Patty

Yes we did stay at Hereford Ranch. Nice CG very quiet, no highway noise at all. Stocked fishing pond, nice walking trails. Would diffently go back. I would just avoid the tree limb that came in contact with my roof!!!!
