LED light above 5th wheel hitch will not shut off

LED LIGHT above fifth wheel hitch will not shut off, have no remote, their is no switch to turn it off, tried calling every rv repair in 3 differant states, no answer to problem, light is on 24/7, tried battery disconnect, still on, hook up to the truck, and uuplug from truck still on, disconnected neg from battery, on but flickers, disconnected from postive finally went off, what up with this and how to fix, light fix in unit with cauking and screws, this is a 2009 montana rl3400 hickory addition, Help

If I recall, it is tied to one of the scare lights. Make sure that they are both off and you should resolve the problem. I know it is tied to another light.

Should be tied to the door side scare light (the round light up high on the side of the rig). My switch, in the main switch panel, says DS Flood Light. If your door side flood light isn't on it could be burned out, but the switch would still send power to the hitch light from your 12v system.

Scare light is turned off, rather off or on the led light just stays on, but the ds light will not come on unless I tap it with the outside light then comes on, light maybe on its way out, but the the led light should not stay just because a bulb is being burn out, somebody with a eng degree could of not design this that way, all it does is drain my battery.

Good grief, remove the light disconnect the wires and forget it. In 8 years of having that light I have never used it. JMHO

disconnected the wire terminal light, hit reset on box, turned red then flashed, led is off , but ds and vanity lights do not work now, even after i reconnected the terminal light wire, but led stayed off. i check the breaker, now whats up
