Opinions please. RV Sheets or Regular Sheets?

RV Sheets or Regular Sheets (less expensive alternative)?

I have also just read somewhere on this forum about "sheet suspenders" how do those work if using regular sheets?

We have an RV King (70x80) in our "new" 3721RL. We are adding a 3" Mattress Topper to the probably horrible RV Mattress that is currently in the 5th wheel. In the "old" 5th wheel we added a Beauty Rest Mattress and it was great but it really was a little too heavy for the bed so we are going to try the Mattress Topper for a while in the "new" 5th wheel.

Still use regular king sheets, have thought about taking them in for custom fit, but haven't gotten to it yet (4 years so far). John

We use the "deep" bottom fitted sheet and a flat sheet for the next size down. The deep takes up the mattress toppers, etc.

Queen mattress = queen fitted bottom, full flat top.

Do use the suspenders, quite helpful.

If you use the queen flat, just tuck all that extra length in, toss on the blankies and away you go!

Regular store bought sheets. We added an extra thick mattress topper (Costco). Queen extra deep pocket sheets didn't fit. So now I have a regular queen sheet on the mattress and a regular queen sheet over the mattress topper. Works great! Sheets stay put and the bed is much easier to make on clean sheet days.

We used regular sheets on our old camper for years. Always too big and tend to bunch up. When we got the Montana we decided to go with the King camper sheets. Wow! So much easier to make and the fit is perfect so very comfortable with no bunching. Oh, by the way the bed is very comfortable with no additional mattress pad.

We have a regular household size memory foam mattress and use house size sheets.

Our rig came with king size mattress but we had it cut down to a queen for more room to get arround in the bed room. We have a standard queen mattress with a topper from Costco. We use the deep pocket bottom sheet and the regular flat top sheet. Works very well for us.
