New today ,but have TV problems..help?

We took delivery of our new 3750FL today , but now I have a problem with our 2013 Chevrolet 3500HD. I am getting messages that the Stabilitrak and the traction control needs serviced. This of course started on the way home from the RV dealer.Anyone else had this problem?

Proud new Montana Owners,
Jim & Laurie

Is it constant or did it clear after restart. Generally a fault in the steering wheel position sensor. Code won't read with most cheap code readers, dealers ABS reader can read the code. I know this doesn't help alot. But unless you feel it pulsing the brakes you should be ok, until you can get it checked out.

Thanks. It is a constant message along with the traction control message. Even restarting later they were still there. I will start by calling the rv dealer tomorrow and see what they say. I am not sure exactly how they wired the fifth wheel outlet. The truck came with the "fifth wheel ready" option, so maybe they didn't use the wiring it is suppose to have. I'll keep everyone posted on what I learn.

Jim, consider going on duramaxforum and plug in Stabiltrak. Not being a mechanic there are some threads on there that explain what issues you may have.

As my last reply was lost, here it is again; If your OnStar is still active, they can do a diagnostic scan and tell you what the code and or the problem might be until you can get to a GM dealer for service. As has been stated earlier, Steering wheel position sensors have been causing hiccups (C0710).

Ok, hopefully we got this fixed. The problem seems to be as previously suggested.
There was a broken wire in the left rear wheel sensor harness. My Chevy dealer found and fixed it. It was near the spare tire. My speculation is the harness was bound up,in the tire and when we put the load in the truckbed the suspension flexed and broke the wire. Tomorrow I will hook up the FW and see what happens.
