Valdez, Alaska
Oh, my gosh!! I think I've died and gone to heaven. Arrived in Valdez today and was told it is the first sunny day in a week. What a treat. Bob is a burger nut, and we had THE BEST BURGER ever and curly fries at Old Town Burgers here in Valdez. At the moment we have the most spectacular view of the surrounding snow covered mountains. I just hope they don't put anybody in this row until we leave! Selfish, huh!!

Valdez and the Best Burger were one of our favorite places in Alaska (we had so many)... The boat tour to the glacier was awesome.. Sure hope you can do that one.

Jo-Anna, we're at the Eagle's Rest RV Park. When you get here if you want to be right on the water try the adult section of the Bear Paw RV Park. The cost is a little spendy - $35 a night, no weekly rates, but the view can't be beat. Eagle's Rest is just fine for us. All the amenities and nice folks.
Helen, we are taking the all day cruise tomorrow on the Stan Stevens. I can hardly wait. The weather may be a little ovecast and very cool, but as long as I can see I don't care!

We arrived in Valdez today and had to have the Old Town Burgers - very good! The scenery is beautiful and we are parked right on the water at Bear Paw Campground. We'll take the Stan Stevens cruise on Sunday.
Life sure is good!

It turned out to be a sunny and bright day today in Valdez so we decided to do the cruise today - SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone heading to Valdez should plan to take the Stan Stvens all day cruise.
I'll have pictures on our travel journal tomorrow.....
