Avoid Frosty Acres at all costs

We had a terrible experience at Frosty Acres Campground in Schenectady, NY earlier this month. This place was so bad, we left without even hooking up. I told my wife I would rather stay in a parking lot. To access the water supply, you had to pull the spigot up out of an algae covered water hole with a string. I looked at some of the other sites, and they were the same way. I must admit the owner did give me a refund for one night, but I had to forfeit the 1 nite deposit. Believe me, it was worth it.
This place is on Skyline Drive in Schenectady and a good place to avoid.

Not too far from where we live, and we couldn't agree with you more. We rode through there once and would never recommend it to anyone!

I'm at Four Seasons RV Resort in Walla Walla WA. Nice little 89 space park. In fact there are two other Montana's here. an '02 Big Sky 3295 and the other is an 05 or 06 3400RL. Haven't got to meet them yet. The big sky is pulled by a F550.
