Looking for a good TV antenna

We are wanting to improve or replace our tv antenna on our Montana. I am tired of having to pack along our dish and get it set up. We mainly like to get local stations, anybody have any suggestions to improve digital reception? Thanks

We added the winegard wingman (http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...-wingman/44021) to the antenna that came with the Montana.
Pickup digital stations everywhere we go - well allmost. one state park, no radio, no TV, no cell phone!!!

Never had much issue with the Winegard that comes stock ... added the Sensar Wingman and get all the local stations we want. We do RV at the lakes a lot, so we're always a good distance away from a tower. Just make sure the booster (black button with green indicator light) is on and working.

I'll vote for the Jack Antenna! We replaced the OEM antenna with the Jack about three years ago and picked up nearly three times the channels around the areas we were in. Of course you get multiple same channels but you do get a whole lot more. Actually used it down at Q and got about twice as many stations as the rest of the units with regular antennas. Of course it wasn't equivalent to the units with the satellites but well worth the money spent. There is an FCC website also that if you put in where you are at by zip code and it will tell you where all of the tv channels are at and in which direction. IF I can locate my sheet that tells my what the website is I'll repost here also.

The booster is working and does well in more populated areas..... but where we camp a lot down at the Cumberland River in Kentucky there are plenty of hills and holler's and we are at least 25 miles from nearest broadcasting tower down there. I was hoping there was some add on to greatly improve reception. The Jack antenna and the Wingman Sensar both have pretty good reviews. The Jack is on sale a camping world this weekend.

We also have the wingman, and have found that it has work very well for us all over the Us and Canada. From the eastern seaboard, thru Texas, Arizona and California.

I installed the Jack last fall and can't be happier. Like others, I find that we are able to pull in quite a few more channels than with the factory batwing unit. Troutbum53 I am VERY familiar with where you camp on the Cumberland River as we have a family cabin in Wells Bottom not far down stream of Wolf Creek Dam and I'm not sure any antenna is going to perform satisfactorily. You may want to invest in a satellite unit. Tim

Anybody know where I might find my TV antenna booster button. On my previous Cougar it was located behind the TV. Was in my rig today familiarizing myself with its features and couldn't find the booster. I was getting the local TV channels nice and clear so perhaps the new models have done away with the booster!

Check in the wardrobe closet on the right side......My Winegard with the Wingman works a whole lot better now that I found the loose connection on the coax connectors going to the antenna. Wouldn't have found it if the dang handle had not broke. soon as I pulled on the coax up on the roof it came right apart. New connector and now lots of channels...
