ST vs LT tires
I understand Keystone moved to LT tires but dont know the reason why. Do know I dont like the tires on my Montana presently. I had ST tires on my old trailer (significantly lighter), and ST tires sidewalls are supposed to be more flexible, for sharp turns, but LT tires are supposedly stronger, re blowouts. Talked to local tire dealer, who services truckers and commercial as well, (honest fellow), who recommends the LT tires as stronger, and he carries quite a selection of 16 inch 6 to 10 ply tires. He can order the ST tires for me (cheaper) but feels LT stronger tire, and therefore safer. Does anybody have the straight skinny on ST vs LT tires??
