Staples
Please put longer staples in our gun when you staple the thin panels on the side of the closet and middle if the isle wrap in kitchen.
When we stopped today with our NEW Big Sky, all of the shelves in the bedroom had collapsed and the wall board in the kitchen was bowed out because the staples had all pulled loose. We think longer staples would have prevented this but for now we will fix our with screws.

Loose staples -- this does not sound good -- you sure there is not something else moving underneath that should not be moving??? Hope the screws are the answer. Keep us updated

I have found that the staples are put in with too much pressure, sinking the staples in to deep, and eventually they pop out what little wood is left on the panneling. I have all the senco air stapelers the 3/16 crown wire stapler can only be so long I guess.

I feel your pain over those staples. We recently lost several sheets of the soffit on underside of the front deck roof of our NEW house when we had a little wind (20 - 30 mph as compared to our "normal" winds of 50 - 70 mph). When we looked at the panels that had blown off, we discovered they'd been attached with what liked like ordinary household staples, the kind you'd have in the stapler on your desk. They were thin and very, very small--maybe 3/8" long on the "prong" side, if that much. It seems to me that for what a new rig or custom home costs, you'd get something better than light-duty staples holding things together. Alas, I guess not.
Please follow up later with a post that lets us know how the screws work. I know they'll hold tighter if too-small-staples were the only problem. We replaced the staples in our soffit with screws--no more rippling or banging in the wind.

adelmoil if they used some panel adhesive behind the staples the panel would still be on but if you shoot a staple 3/4 long through a 1/16 " panel and it goues in half way you have nothing,, they try to put in 7 million staples but that is no help,, use 1/8" wall bd or better yet 3/16 wall bd but the cost is tooooooooooooo much .. don't put screws in the walls as they look like h--l..remove the panel and get some panel adhiesive from hd or lowes , but be careful it mite bleed through the thin panel .. good luck.. and you only drove the old unit for 5 years or more and the walls never fell off,,,sailer

Oh, Helen, I'm so sad for you to have that happen on your beautiful new Big Sky. I hope that's the first, last and only problem you have with your new baby.
