Portable AC in Bedroom

The goal is to add a full AC to upstairs bedroom but a fiver next me tonite said they use a portable unit. I have a 2014 Mountaineer. I'm sure most Montana bedroom windows are the same. This is my second Monty. Any ideas out there.

Just wonder how one sets up so that it vents to the outside. That hot air needs to get out somehow.

I use an 8000 btu window air and it keeps the monty very comfortable at only 200 dollars. the only back draw is i have to install and remove it when i leave and setup but its only 200 dollars and it weighs around 40 pounds.

The smaller portable indoor AC units can be vented through a dryer vent with no difficulty. Larger btu ones need a bigger opening. I was thinking about getting one for our trip to CA but found we could make it OK with window insulation.
