Batteries in winter

Getting ready to move Monty to covered storage for the winter.
There is no power there, and was wondering if I should pull the batteries and bring home. Have dealt with deep cycles in bass boat for years but always at home and I could charge monthly.
Is there anything I should know as far as hydraulics, 6 point system?
I plan to level with tires on wood blocks (gravel floor) then remove batteries?
Anything else? We're real green on the 5th wheel world.
