GPS coordinates or the approximate location? ......
Yes, GPS Lat/Lon info would be very nice for us gadget-geeks!

EDIT:
Oops, nevermind! I just saw the info on the Activites Schedule and Directions thread.

Ok, according to Microsoft Streets and Trips, Plomosa Road only goes off the the left. No kidding! GRRR. they call the road to the right, Bouse-Quartzsite road.

coordinates are super, only I have yet to figure out how to use them in Google maps OR Streets & Trips.

I am having a techy-DUHHHH day! SIGH

Carol,
As you have already figured out, no matter what they want to call the road you want to go to the east towards Bouse.

Yes, Carol. As Charlie said... turn right on Plamosa Road (Bouse Scenic Rd), cross cattle crossing, then go 2.8 or 2.9 (Carl)miles, watch for MOC sign on left, turn "left" at sign! Follow trail and other signs!!!

Watch for flags flying on all types of rigs in a concentrated area on your left just before sign!!!

How many folks will be staying on at Plomoso after Jan 30th? We will be in Quartzsite with the HAM Radio group at MM 99 on US 95 south of town from about 1/22 - 1/29 for their activities. We hope to get to the Montana circle for a visit during that time, but thought we might move to the Plomoso site on the 29th for a few days, if any one will still be there. Unfortunately, we are still in the work force until the end of July, so we have to head home to be at work on Feb 9th. There will be vacation time for Jackson Rancheria and Seven Feathers though.

Looking forward to seeing you all at those events.

Arrive, with trailer, on site 1/29, if anyone is there, and will drop by for a visit sometime earlier in the week.

Mrs. Country Guy in Streets and Trips you put the coordinates in Tools / Find / Lat/Long. It works good.

Thanks HomeOntheRoad

I found the tool to do this just as you say, COOL!

When, I put the coordinates in, from the other thread, I get a place out east, but, changing the 114 to -114 I get closer, south of Quartzsite tho.

Yep, I love computers AND maps!

Can you tell I have not taken up geocaching. SNICKER

Send a message via AIM to leasurejf
We planned to be there on the 18th, but had a slight change in plans. We will be there on Saturday 1/22. Looking forward to meeting everyone. This will be our first experience dry camping. I'm sure we will leave with a lengthy list of fond memories and lessons learned. Hopefully, this will end up on the rally posts.

Barring any unforeseen difficulties, we should arrive on Monday sometime.

Keep the bonfire burning bright, in case we show up in the middle of the night!

Can hardly wait to get there and start the most popular activity in Quartzsite, .......relaxing!

Right now, the circle is full, but we will have vacancies on Tuesday. Stay tuned, when the internet connection gets a bit faster, we'll post pictures of the circle taken from the hang glider.

We're having a great time, the weather is fantastic, near 75 today, the RV Show has a bumper crop of stuff.....

....life at Q with friends just couldn't get any better!

Hi All, We came down Friday for a day trip to see everyone. Nice seeing our friends. Some had not arrived yet.
Wintering about 150 miles from Quartzsite in AZ. Just us and the dogs were at Quartzsite for a few hours. Would have liked to have stayed longer but had to get back to Apache Junction.
