Montana Slides

Hello,

We have a 2001 Montana 3255RL. Due to the recent heatwave, we have spent the last month "camping" next to our old, warm house. The slides have been closed while mowing the grass around it, but have been open most of the time. When we finally retire and make the leap to fulltiming, how often should the slides be closed? When they are closed, should they be closed for any specific length of time? We have been calling our time living in our fiver this month as 'practicing for retirement'. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
