Dining Room TV Removal 2005 2955RL

Its time for a new flat panel. Has anyone one with a 2955RL around 2005, removed the big TV yet? If so besides the "big" screw through the wall on the right side are there any other hidden fasteners?

Also what brand and what size flat panels seem to fit the best in the opening? How did you mount the new TV?

Thanks!

I haven't replaced ours yet, but there are also two screws that come up from underneath that I found one day while checking it out.

Our 2008 has a Viewsonic 27" HD that has a good picture but any 27" should fit.

I have a 06 Mountaineer and replaced mine with a 32" flat panel and I used an swing arm mount that I screwed to the side wall of the cabinet. I did reinforce the side wall on the inside with 3/4" plywood. Best place to look for flat panel mounts is on www.overstock.com . They have great prices and lots of variety. Locally the mounts were around $100-125. Overprice.com had the same ones for about %35.00. The nice thing about the swing mount is it is amazing how much storage area is located behind my tv now.
