Shower Stall Screws
Maybe my Monty is unique but I suspect NOT! I can't imagine why Mr. Keystone couldn't have the foresight to anticipate that the iron screws he installed in the center of the shower drain and under the door (securing the frame to the base)might just rust if they came in contact with water. Mine did to the point where I had rust stains running down the inside of the base. $1.04 bought 3 replacement stainless steel screws to bring this particular installation up to what should be a minimum construction standard for Mr. Keystone!

Nope, Mr Keystone saves 1.04 per shower stall. You fixed it, that's how they do business. JMO

Just tack that on to your cost of buying/maintaining the Monty. A small price to pay for a stain free shower pan. I know,... should have been done right the 1st time...

Yea, but if everything was done right to begin with, what would we spend all our spare time doing?

Moutard,
We did the same thing right at the start - we replaced all wet location screws inside with stainless steel. We also replaced all of the underbelly screws with stainless.
