Water pressure regulator
Just curious as to what pressure you folks are running on your incoming water pressure regulator. FYI - I am running a 30 psi regulator

I run mine at 60psi.

Between 50-60 on ours! Supposedly, the water lines are suppose to handle more pressure BUT they don't say anything about the fittings and joints in the lines holding the higher pressure. I think, don't hold me to this, that the booklet that came with the unit says they are rated at 60 lb. but since my unit is 45 miles away I can't verify that.

We run 60-65 but almost never see it that high and the two places we did, one in Missouri and one in New Mexico, the pressure was over 100 without it and new RV's who arrived and didn't heed the warnings were leaking from various places.

Y connector at the faucet - 60 psi regulated into the "city" water input, unregulated side into the black tank flush input, unless I notice it being extremely high. Watts regulator.

Yeah, I wouldn't normally run "full pressure" through the plastic back flow preventer that is inside the camper. I've heard of too many failures. I took mine out and "straight-piped" it to get it out of the camper. Mine was under my bathroom sink. I have an external back flow preventer that is of better quality. As far as the black tank goes - I'm very careful to never over fill the black tank (fearing just what you're warning against). And as far as the pressure goes, there shouldn't be any more pressure in the tank if it is filled fast as compared to slow, if the vent is clear.

I use an adjustable regulator that has a gauge and it's set to about 43. Works great and have good interior water pressure.

Hmm, I've only encountered high water pressure maybe twice in 10 years of RVing, usually the Campground Water Pressure is pathetically low so I've seen no need for any pressure regulator.

Just finished a camping trip at Perry lake, Kansas. Water pressure was in excess of 80 psi ... since my regulator is in the convenience center, it stretched out my supply hose so bad it won't roll up like it used to.
