Looking for stop over spot off 95 in Maine

We'll be traveling up to the maritimes in the next couple weeks and were hoping to get a start on our trip and find some place to boon-dock 3-4 hours up 95 in to Maine. Does anyone have any suggested locations in mid to upper Maine on the 95 route?

Hi Suggest you exit 95 onto 295 in S. Portland. This eliminates the big curve over to Lewiston and it's free. Both come together in Gardiner. If you exit #49 onto rt 201 towards Gardiner, we have a campground on the Kennebec River. We are full at the moment but if you just want to stop for the night without hookups, we can put you on the lawn. Might have a site when you come thru. If interested PM me and I will give better directions. Dan
