Toilet pressure

I had a toilet leak last week and I bought a new Dometic 320 with a hand spray to replace the old one. The install was quite easy. However, when I leak checked it, I had a small leak on the back where the hose from the sprayer and the flush valve hose connect. I called Dometic and the troubleshooting person inquired on the water pressure. I have a newly installed adjustable regulator set at 65psi was my reply. The troubleshooter replied that their toilets have a max pressure of 45psi. Sure enough, I dialed the pressure down to 45psi and so far the leak has stopped. I guess I will install an inline regulator on the toilet line. I have an old camping world brass regulator laying around and I think those are approximately 45psi.
It just seems to me they should design it to withstand 65-75psi and if not, it should state it somewhere on the product description. 45psi is not enough pressure to take a suitable shower.

Interesting. We had 320 (no sprayer) in our old rig and did six years with pressure up to 65 and never had an issue.

Ok, is it safe to say the sprayer will only handle 45psi? That seems to be the common denominator in the lower pressure requirement.

Good news

Good news! I emailed Dometic about my toilet issues and Diane from Dometic responded. I called her and explained my problem. I didnít mention it earlier but the flush valve also leaked the first ten flushes and then stopped. She stated that the recommended pressure for their toilets was approximately 45 psi but it should not leak at 65 psi. Her solution at first was to send a new valve but she changed her mind and decided to send a brand new toilet! Thatís good customer service.
