Other than adding some Astro-turf for the pups and a few seats for us, we’ve kept the exterior as is. Our summers have been in Phoenix (2017 & 2018) and West Texas this year so we don’t spend too much time outside.
Interior
Being full timers, our rig is well lived in and we’ve made a few reno’s to help with our needs but basically try to keep it pretty trade-in ready.
Customizations
Removed wine-rack above the microwave. Kept the frame, added a drawer pull and hinges...voila, we have storage for a pot, pan & skillet
Renovations and Repairs
Our first few months on the road (June 2017 - Oct 2017) were a real eye-opener! Brand new rig but SO.MANY.FIXES....
1.) Bathroom exhaust fan had faukty wire and fan wouldn’t shut off. Spliced and repaired.
2.) Back door wouldn’t unlock deadbolt with key.
3.) Ice-maker (2nd shutoff valve) didn’t work.
4.) Fenders, fenders, fenders...Keystone May go bankrupt if they don’t fix these floppy, frail fenders! We’ve replaced ours three times and only find that using silicon on each screw helps keep them in place...
5.) DS running lights had faulty wiring.
6.) bottom kitchen drawer wouldn’t open or shut but we resolved that with the ice-maker (see #3)
All that got resolved in the first few months and were working through our next set of fixes...
