If you live in a humid area your fridge may be better off left on, less rust and corrosion. The heat will keep things dry

As fulltimers ours is turned on 24x7 whether traveling or stationary. I can't see why having it on while stored would be any problem, so long as it's level. I used to frequently leave ours on between trips before we started the fulltiming. Not always but frequently.

Leave it off with the doors put in ajar position while not rving, then turn it on about 2 days before a trip. Notice I didn't use the X2 remark, but basically similar to what Dick states above.
