Slide Out Controls
We have a 2011 Montana 3400RL fifth wheel, it has a switch, in the trailer itself, to control the slide outs, we have four. There is also a control on the remote. On the drivers side exterior there is a compartment that has controls for the front jacks and rear stabilizers. There are also four swithches for the slide outs.I cannot determine which switch controls which slide out as the slideouts all go in or out regardless of the position of any of the switches. Can someone help me with this? Thanks

Try turning to position switch a little harder. If this don't help probably a bad manifold assembly.

If it is like ours, the slide isolation switches have to be turned fully to stop the individual slides. Fully on ours means that the switches turn more than 180 degrees. Ours turn past the down position slightly (about an eight of an inch) before the slides are isolated. Ours are labeled on the panel as to which switch controls which slide. Hope this helps.

I'm wondering if I read that correctly. Did you say you have 4 switches on the inside for the slides, and 4 on the outside, plut one on the remote? I think you meant 1 rocker switch on the inside of the coach, 4 on the outside, and and "in/out" switch on the remote which controls the landing gear, stabelizer jacks and the rooms. Bingo is correct as the 4 switches on the outside should be marked with which room that particular switch controls. If you turn them all on, then operating the 1 rocker switch inside should open/close the rooms one at a time starting with the bed. If for some reason the 4 outside switches are not labelled, then you can turn on 1 at a time, and use your remote to see what room works, then use a fine point to label that switch, etc.
Hope this helps.

X2. I thought ours didn't work at first also.

As indicated, the solution is to close all four valves, open one, hit the rocker switch, and then you will know which valve that slide operates. Then you can mark for future reference, and repeat the process. Ours were not marked either.

We had the same problem with our camper. As stated, turn the knobs on the outside as far as they will go. We marked the slide knobs (so we understood) after testing since the wording on the knobs from the factory was confusing to us.

Thanks to everyone! I tried turning the switches past the off position and voila, it works. Thanks again.

Against nature is right. How many have ever seen a 180 degree rotary switch that went to 190 or 195 degrees? And even then, it doesn't feel like it's stopped.
