Bigfoot Levelers - Update

We got the Bigfoot Levelers installed and hit the road yesterday. Man, what a delight. We pulled into my aunt's back yard, pushed a button to run the front legs down, unhooked the truck, then hit another button (Auto) and the rig leveled itself. No cranking, no bending or kneeling, no nothing.

Will continue to update on how we like (or dislike) this new improvement to our rig.

One of the great attributes that the levelers did for us is to make everything inside the coach work without sticking, binding, swinging open or closed wildly. When we open the bathroom door, it opens and stays right at the point to which it is opened. All the cupboard doors open properly.

Much more stable than before installation.

Orv,
I assume I know the answer but will ask anyway. When you park your trailer you do level it on the tires (side to side) and then let the Big foot raise and level front to rear?

Thanks,

It depends on whether how level the spot where the rig is going to be parked is. When I pull in, if it's off side-to-side like maybe one board, I pull the wheels on that side up on the board, then let the Bigfoot level front to rear and correct any little side-to-side that's needed. Sure saves a lot of work. It is expensive, however. But since I had the back surgery and am completely healed, I'm looking for anyway possible to make things easier.

Sure, check here. Then click on Leveling Systems. Be aware that they picture only one pump with the four legs but in reality there is one pump for each leg.

I thought about them too Orv. Are they still in White Pigeon Mich? My sister lives about a mile from where they are, How much extra weight do they add if I may ask?
