2009 324RLQ Info

We have just recently purchased a new to us 2009 Montana 324RLQ.
The original owners used this unit a total of 15 days and kept it in
covered storage the rest of the time. It is in like new condition and
still has the new smell as you enter. After reading the owners manual and pulling and flipping switches I cannot figure what one
switch controls. This is a paddle type light switch located between
the tank control panel and the slide-out controls. The original owners are very sweet but know nothing about the unit and are of no
help. My last Rv was a Keystone Everest and it had a simular switch
that controlled the power to the ceiling fan and light. Any light
that can be shed on this would be much appreciated.

If it looks like a Decora style switch, it operates the fan in the living room. Try pulling on both of the fan chains to turn on the light and fan when the Decora switch is in the up/on position.

Thank you very much, it seems that the paddle switch will turn the
light on or off and the fan is controlled by the pull chain only.
This is different from my previous Rv.

We had a 324RLQ and that switch was for both the fan and the light, you could turn off either with the chains.
