Larger bedroom TV

Installing a larger bedroom TV in a 295RKD with a swing arm type mount. Not sure if I will be able to center the mount over a stud due to the limited amount of space. Any suggestions on what type of screws to use or if drywall screws will hold the TV.

I'm not sure about other models, but I know that in my rig they ran the wiring harness across the ceiling and then brought the wires down next to the aluminum studs. Be careful when you drill into the wall. Also consider that the forces on a TV attached to the wall of a camper are different than those in a Stick house. I wouldn't mount the small TV we have there currently with molly bolts let alone drywall screws and certainly not a bigger one.

Thanks for the info. I havn't taken the old one off yet, but it doesn't look like is into a stud. I think if I can get at least one side of the mount, two out of four screws, into a stud I should be OK.

I mounted mine on the swing out door in my 09 model, but always take it down and put it on the bed when on the road.

Just took down the factory 19" and wall mount in the bedroom. The stud is fairly wide and was able to install the CW swing arm mount directly into the stud. The new 24" TV is actually lighter and thinner than the factory 19". Thanks for all the good info on this forum.
