Propane 101

Some time ago I came across this website and in particular this page. It has a lot of straight forward easy to understand information about propane regulators, and other questions some might have regarding propane appliances and tanks.

There was a question on another thread regarding purging new tanks and it was the longest most convoluted explanation I ever saw. There is a short description on this page in the third paragraph from the end. That explanation really is all you need to know about purging.

You could print this page and keep it as a handy reference. Hope it helps clear up some questions anyone might have.
