I have the Sailun's on my Montana but with your model you could go with the Michelin XPS Ribs in the 235x85x16. These are 10 ply but an all steel radial same as the Sailun's. These tires weigh about 62 pounds which is about the same as the Sailun's. I've had these on an 6,000 axle and they are to me just as safe as the Sailun's on account of the all steel makeup of the tire. These tires are more expensive than the Sailun's but are great tires for your application. As has been said if you go to the Sailun's then 80 psi should be the maximum pressure on account your wheels are probably rated at 80 psi. You should be able to go to just about any Discount, Big O' or mom and pop dealer and get them mounted.Try to find a dealer you can bring your rv to. Simple tire on the web is a good place to order the Sailun's.

Why would anyone with a heavy 5er use a LR E tire over an LR G? Sailun is the way to go!

John,
That was the case for years, the newer technology on the st tires with the all steel contruction are designed to carry extremely heavy loads, I made my decision based on many Iron workers towing much heavier loads than my 12k montana that I know and have preferred them over the sailun and the Goodyear G tires, friend who is a owner of a local tire shop is actually the one who helped me with my decision.
Sincerely, Ron

My tire dealer owns 3 shops in the county. He also owns a sob 5er that scales at 13,100. Sailuns on his.

CCL, you do NOT want to save too much money on tires account of the damage a potential tire failure will do to your RV.

I just purchased a Montana with that tire and the trailer having that tire was one of the reasons I bought it, very good tire, good reviews. Good to see your going to “G” can your rim handle the higher air pressure ?
