3000RK owners, tire question

We hear so often of tire problems, continually.
We purchased a 2008 3000RK new and put 20,000 on the original tires, now with another 20,000 on the second set we have had no tire problems, other than a puncture from semi mud flap bolts which were plugged and patched.
My question is to other 3000RK owners, have any of you had tire problems?
Just curious.

You did well with the original tires, don't know if you were just lucky with those China made E rated tires, or the weight of the 3000RK.

I own a 2008 3400, and its GVWR is 1000 lbs heavier then the 3000RK, could very well be the reason those tire held up, don't know for sure. I took mine off after less then two years, and went with G rated tires.

I am not sure why you are asking with 40K on what I am assuming are E rated ST tires. What is your concern ???

70K plus on ours, 3 sets of tires. First changed because they were China Bombs. Since then the only tire issue I have experienced was from a bent axle. (self inflicted by hitting a pump protection post in a filling station) Other tires were only changed due to age.

I don’t actually have any concerns, just curious, and wondered because I have had no tire problems in 40,000 miles, 20,000 for each set. I presently have Carlisle st235/80r16 duratrail technology. Warranted that if anything goes wrong and they are not bald free replacement. Extra 10 bucks a tire. They still look good today and after 20,000 miles never any problem.
That’s my story for what it is worth.

We have a 2010 3000RK and it came with the GY Bombers and lasted less than 15,000 miles before 2 flats. Replaced with Michelin and then finally Sailun tires.Only about 1,200 miles on them so far coming down to Arizona. Rougher ride at 100PSI and will drop to 95PSI going home to help out ride. Also added the Timbrems, so that may be causing rougher ride along with absolutley crappy California I-5 highway. Michelin excellent tire, just too expensive.

I ran those Carlisle tires on a 5er for a long time. Never a problem with LR E or LR F Carlisle tires. Once I saw the reputation of Sailuns I went with them. Had them on my last 5er and current one too.
