We'll see you at the Quartzsite RV show in January 26th - 29th, 2006 next month. well be dry camping at Snowbird RV Lots.

We will be there with Michael and Renee (Golfnuts) and Dennis and MaryKay (HamRad), not sure where we will be parked yet as we will be caravaning down with HamRad. It would be nice to get together with all the MOC members while we are there.

We will unfortunately miss the Show but will be in Yuma on February 4th for a month at Del Pueblo RV Park. I hope eventually we will get the chance to meet all of you.....Les

I think your other Quartzsite posting is fine where it is. No need to move it unless you just really want to. Although this one should be about the actual RV Show that they have at Q. It works in either or both postings. This one has sort of turned into a "I'll be there too....." type thing. No problems.

I'm here right now. Moved permanently on Oct. 6th. Would like to try and meet other MOCers. Will go to other posting as well and check it out. The largest restaurant in town is "Sweet Darlene's" on the extreme east part of town and food is pretty good.

There are going to be a fairly large number of MOCers at Q this year so it should be a great time.

We are here in Goodyear, at Cotton Lane RV & Golf Resort; and watching to see where everyone is meeting up so keep posting - We plan to come out to see everyone - given the chance....probably won't bring the Montana for this trip, since we are such a short ways away from Quartzite.

No rain from California, but it sure has been WINDY!! HOWEVER, IT LOOKS LIKE ALL THE VENDORS HAVE DONE A PRETTY GOOD JOB OF KEEPING THINGS TIED DOWN. THE TEMPS HAVE BEEN PRETTY REASONABLE. AT 7am THIS MORNING IT WAS IN THE LOW 50S AND RIGHT NOW @ NOON IT'S READING 68.

Looking forward to meeting as many as I can.

How's the Verizon Cell phone coverage in the Quartzsite area?????

The Verizon cell service has been good the last couple of years out on Plomosa RD. I think they bring in extra towers for the season.

Thanks Dennis: I thought perhaps y ou had already gotten on the road. We're leaving Monday, 3 inches of snow today, but truck and trailer are on high "dry" ground and out of the mud, hooked up and almost ready to pull out. We, fortunately , had enough dry days between storms to dry things out to move the trailer off the pad. We'll be arriving in Q about Friday. We'll be in Vegas for a few days in between;

Here is a picture of our get together on January 28th in Quartzsite. It was so great to meet everyone. We are looking forward to the May campout at Lake Siskiyou.

This is my first time trying to post a picture so I'm hoping this works correctly.
