We finally got on the road out of Phoenix last Thursday at about 3pm. We decided to go the suthern rout to Albuquerque and Made Benson AZ about 6 pm. Well, that is almost. I pulled a stupid and ran dry about 6 miles short. So, we actually made it in about 8 pm.
Friday was an excellent day through Lordsburg and Hatch up to Albuquerque. Spent the weekend with old friends and our grandkids. Today we launched out of Albuquerque and made Amarillo TX. Our "goal" is Conley Bottom Campground at Montecello KY on the shjores of Lake Cumberland. We plan to be there Friday through Sunday. It's a popular spot and I expect to see lots of Montana's.
