White - reflects the heat in summer and doesn't show the dirt as much

Doug and Robin, I would have to speculate that White or Combo colors w/ white are what you see on the lots because typically"as a Plumbing supply house Mgr" White is what I look for in a fleet truck which probably make up a large portion of what is sold. Mine is Black. Steve

I just read an article about this. White is the most common color selection for all vehicles followed by silver. Like many have mentioned, it is coolest and easiest to keep clean. I've owned two prior white vehicles and needed dark sunglasses to wash them. Black is the worst because right after washing it, it's needs to be washed again. I admire peeps that have black vehicles, but I wouldn't want to own one.

My 2006 Ford F-250 is Metallic Arizona Beige. My prior 2004 F-250 was metallic silver. It was the only truck on the lot that was equipped exactly like we wanted except we didn't want leather but we aren't complaining.

I guess I'm like a bunch of the others - I wanted a white tow vehicle but have a Blue Ram 3500 DRW auto instead - the price was right!

I shopped for white since I like how my wife's white Tahoe never shows dirt. And white matches teh Monty. However, they were hard to find and after seeing the black Sierra, I thought it looked much sportier. Downside is it looks dirty after 5 minutes outside.

I drive a Burgundy Ford 450. I understand if you want to match the trailer that white would make the most sense. Regarding white being most popular, that may be true for trucks, but Silver took over from White in the auto colors about 2 or 3 years ago.

Our truck is white. We wanted a red or blue, but did not come in the Dodge 1 ton. White is good when it is really hot, you can touch the truck without getting burned.

I have a appliance white Dodge Ram (or as the new name is just RAM) I watch as I am towing and notice the majority of what I see are white trucks. I am curious why that is?

Ours is silver. Not by choice. It came as part of the package. Price was right. Agree that white would match the Monty.

After driving in the desert for over 50 years in mostly white
vehicles we retired with a metalic brown Duramax that matches our
3585SA Montana. To bad the graphics are pealing off the 5th. wheel.

Our new chevy is a blue granite metallic. Actually it seems to change color from the blue to more of a grey blue depending on the light.
