Surround Sound - TV

We just picked up our new Montana 3295RK on Thursday. Can someone tell me whether our the audio for our living room TV can be played through the Quest-QR2000 home theatre system that came with the unit. If so, how is it accomplished? Having problems. Thanks in advance!

Tried it myself and it will not. I don't know why.

Hook cable/satellite up to a VCR first, Use the VCR as a TV Tuner for the cable. Take Audio & Video from the VCR to the Quest unit aux 1 in and from there it will go to the TV. Put the Quest unit on to Aux 1 in and it will pick up the VCR sound and the video should go thru to the TV. When I took my Quest unit out and replaced it, I noticed the front Right speakers were wired together with the right rear speakers. The left side was also wired together. I don't know why because there were separate places on the the back of the Quest unit for each of the speaker wires. The way it came from the factory it would have only been in stereo not surround sound. When I put the Samsung unit in I wired it correctly and it works great, just about as good as the stick house unit.
