RV Lock Keyless

We are interested in changing our entry lock to a keyless with a remote. Just received an RVLOCK Class C/A lock. It seems to be larger than what is installed on our 3720 RL at this time. Extremely heavy. Some post on Youtube said the opening has to be modified to accommodate the new lock. Has anyone had any experience with changing the lock to a keyless on your Montana. What lock did you use if that is the case? How pleased are you with this change? Thank you so much for the help Jerome & Judy

I changed ours, it needed a tiny bit bigger hole, I enlarged it with a sharp utility knife, and removed some styrofoam. It's an easy project. I would chase the threads with a bottom tap, the powder coating boogered up the threads on mine. I'd also buy better screws.

Mine bolted right up. We have the version 4.0. They are a standard size, can't believe you need to modify it very much. Good luck.

From what I have read the one for class A & C is different than the one for TT & 5er's. Mine went right in no problems. I did one in are old one to.

We went with the keyless and love it. We have the remote but not having to bring your keys is nice.
