there must be some low bridges somewhere on that road where you can't bypass. Where is it?
The lenth is for commercial trailers, must be they only allow "pups" on that section. Gotta be something with that area

Road is less than a mile long. No bridges and no overpasses. End of road has a hard right turn. Left turn iisok I think.

Sounds like they are restricting road to vehicles under 8'6" width plus they don't want trailer over 28'6" on it either.
