Wet-bolts

I never ask for directions and never admit that I don't know everything but it's too much trouble to figure out how to use a fake name so here it goes:

What is a wet-bolt?

ps- the cost of our GPS was well worth it to allow me to not have to ask for directions and I pay the neighbor kid to come over and fix my computer screwups but only if he comes over quietly so my wife will not know that I actually asked for help.

Wet bolt are a replacement bolt that go through the springs and the chackles on the trailer frames. Here's a link to Dexters web site http://dexteraxle.com/inc/sdetail/28011.

The bolts allow you to grease the working action of the bolts and springs.

Thank you.I'll check into them. We're making refinements one step at a time as we start using the trailer more and more. I think this is a never ending list, but it's fun to do so I can't complain.

If you do a search, including in the archives, you will see that unless you plan on parking your Montana and never moving it, this is an important and much needed modification. Nearly everyone who has done have reported that their shackles were in some stage of becoming egg shaped. Montana started using them in 2009 or 2010 with very good reason.
