Just a thought, but IF you put a diamond studded chrome tool box in your truck to match the chrome louvered tailgate, and the monster rocks in the DW's earlobes, fuel consumption will be the LEAST of your worries, .

mobilrvn, I too felt entitled to post a reply after reading all this, .

That's right, DIAMONDS. Carol said we had to have diamonds, so here you go Carol, a DIAMOND plate tool box.

But the best part of making it to page 15 is the fact that we have gleaned so much and learned at the same time from this thread?????? Didn't we??????

Carol.
You could get enough books in there to start your own store and probably have enough room left for a few catalogs, just in case you want to shop for a LOUVERED TAILGATE.

LOUVERED - any of a series of narrow openings framed at their longer edges with slanting, overlapping fins or slats, adjustable for admitting light and air while shutting out rain.

SLOTTED - a narrow, elongated depression, groove, notch, slit, or aperture, esp. a narrow opening for receiving or admitting something, as a coin or a letter.

Nah! No difference. They both take money.

Sorry everyone, I'm kinda new here, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what a "tailgate" is and where I should look for it? I looked and looked and I don't remember the dealer telling me about this option. The only thing I remember is him telling me I could pull anything out there, including aircraft carriers and cruiseships. LOL!

P.S. Can anyone tell me if you can make a 1/2 ton into a one ton?

That should put this post into the hundreds of pages.LOL!

Jeff,

Look for sparkles, as in Diamonds!

How was that? One 1/2 Won Ton into Won Ton?
Tail gates are like rear ends. Everyone has one. If you can't readily find yours, someone stuck it to you.

I thought maybe the dudes were tired of my whining about diamonds!

Or, they are finally all out doing that Christmas shopping, specially those of us in the ice/snow belt. We are gonna get whacked again this weekend.

Tailgates with slot or slots with tailgates, either way, just like the diamonds, it cost you money.

UNLESS............you trade your tailgate to play the slots, you win, then buy diamonds for DW and tell her that Carol's hinting paid off..........Of course, then you have to explain why it took Carol to give you the idea for diamonds. Now see what you have done Carol!!!!!!!!!LOL!!!
