Daughter tried Full Auto

My dad took my daughter (20yr)to the range today to try her hand at going FULL auto with an AR-15 9mm. She had an instructor who had her try semi-auto first, and then full auto with 3-5 round bursts. She shot a total of 90 rounds and the instructor was really impressed with her aim. She had several groupings where she just made the hole slightly bigger. She really enjoyed it. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. She has been shooting with her grandpa and I since she was little and used a Henry Mini .22. She has shot an SKS, British Lee Enfield 303, and pistols of all different shapes and sizes. We just shoot at the range for fun. She has had lots of safety training and seems to really enjoy going with her grandfather. So I thought some of you might like to see her.

Looks like she had a great time. It's always a good thing when adults can help kids learn to respect and use firearms responsibly.

Good for her! What fun. Not a lot of people can even say they've shot an AR, let alone a full auto version.

Great to see the younger generation learning and appreciating the safety and respect of firearms. It is an enjoyable sport when taught properly. My 11 yr old grandaughter hasn't at this point fired a full auto but 2 years ago her dad started teaching her about he AR 15 and she is a good shot with it. At her age she has hunted with her dad and shot a number of deer already. They do alot of hunting for the elders here on the reservation. Our 8 yr old grandson is also no slouch when it comes to shooting. Me and my son-in-law are into reloading and will be getting the kids itnto it also.

6 years ago the DW shot her first MP5 9mm, full auto. I'm sure glad I don't own one. We would be broke buying bullets for it. Even today, when we talk about it, you can't wipe the smile off her face. I've got video of it somewhere, but can't seem to find it.

Excellent! To bad these positive experiences could not be reported by the MSM instead they woudl certianly spin it in a negative way.

Education is everything!

Recently I bought the D/W a S & W Bodyguard 38 Special. She had never fired anything...ever. However, this weapon comes with a laser. It gave her lots of confidence in her ability to use it when she could put the laser on the target.
