7' Ladder and hose storage

I just finished mounting my collapsible ladder and sewer hose under the Montana, Two more items checked off the list....
I have a locking system for the ladder.
I made a strap from nylon webbing to grab the ladder out of the tube.
A question was asked about what the rear storage will be used for, now that the hose is in the tube; the clear 90 degree ell, the hose support that folds up, and maybe some disposable small size Propane tanks, I'll find something to go there.

Looks good Ozz! Now I'm already working on my next project...remotely mounting the landing gear switch.

Looks great Ozz. I like your lock for the ladder one - good idea. Also good idea on storing the hose support in the onboard hose cupboard.
Happy trails..............................

Thanks Ozz - this must be the one...

ladder

With my girlish figure and all, I clock in 25 lbs more than it's rating...

...but then at the same time, I'd like to know the rating on the built in ladders, 'cause mine feels way unsafe for me. I all but banned myself from that ladder.

EDIT - to fix link with hyperlink to prevent a side scroll...

Ozzie,
I think our ladder was around $180.00 with a 220#+? rating, it is a dual side step7' A-frame ladder, I'm around 220# and it is safe for my ahem..frame.
Yea, I climb the back ladder with my fingers crossed.

Just today I found the label on my back ladder of my 2007 3400RL. Hard to find, but it states capacity at 300#.

Also, I just bought a 6ft, 225# rated, Werner aluminum step ladder that weighs approx 10#. I am 245# (but on a diet - currently...). I will try to fit it against the front wall of my basement - it should just fit in front of my slideout tray. Cost: $39.95.

Just could not bring myself to pay that much for something that I might be hiring done anyway. For instance I could not install these tubes myself. Son-in-laws. I am retired, but it came at a price. Pain for even limited use of my shoulders is a Vicadin moment. There are many cleaning, reaching jobs that will be impossible.

I can get up on the roof (now working on getting Cheryl up there), but this $39.95 ladder might just be sufficient for everything else for my situation.

OZZ - great set up and good pictures to go by. I do like the ladder idea and the ladder from CW.

Native Tex,
Thanks, I better like it! I can't take it back now. I figured for the space I had for storage, it was a good compromise.

Ozz, I hope I didn't sound like I thought this cheapo ladder was any kind of a replacement for a good collapsable camping ladder, like the CW one. I was in a positon where I needed something temporarily to get my awnings up and down. I'm sure down the road, we will pick up the one shown in your pics here, or something similar. Just thought for a quick fix, $39.95 was pretty good - and light. But it does take up more room in storage, which will eventually reach critical mass... Then there will be some changes.

Yes, Dennis. Thank you. I could have gone with a lighter plastic, I used schedule 40. I just feel better using the heavier stuff. I haven't used the ladder yet, is it steady?
