Take care Stiles. We're the same age and in Florida we'd be classified as "babies". Health seems to take more managing as we get older...Dennis

Don't know about all those "Doctor names" but at my last School bus exam they noted some "irregularity" and put me on "metoprolol tartrate" which smoothed things out.. They did tell me to cut back on the Caffeine much to Helen's delight.

I guess each Dr. has there own way of handeling there patient, and giving out drugs. I did pull up your Px,
Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing.
Chest pain.
Lightheadedness or fainting.
Rapid weight gain.
Shortness of breath, cold sweats, and bluish-colored skin.
Skin rash or itching.
Slow, fast, pounding, or irregular heartbeat.
Swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet.
Unusual bleeding or bruising.
Wheezing or trouble breathing.
If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:

Cold hands and feet.
Diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting.
Feeling dizzy, drowsy, confused, depressed, or tired.
Headache.
Memory problems, nightmares, or unusual dreams.
Pain, itching, burning, swelling, or a lump under your skin where the needle is placed.
Problems with sex.
Sleepiness or trouble sleeping.
Stuffy or runny nose.
If you notice other side effects that you think are caused by this medicine, tell your doctor.

and after reading all the bad things that could happen from Metoprolol Tartrate not saying it will happen, but could, I'll stick with the a drug free squat occaisionaly. and try to cut down on my caffeine for this type A personality of mine, along with my Hyperactivity. which is probably all the coffee comming out.

Yep! everything has side effects, even doctors, read the do's and don'ts on a tube of tooth paste.
Wouldn't it be nice if all doctors thought the same, but they don't.
