Very Soft Ice Cream.....Why?

I recall others having this issue but I didn't really pay attention because we did have out Monty yet and it wasn't summer. Out last trip, last weekend, the qt. of ice creams was very soft. We had 50 amp service, the outside temp was low 80's, we were parked in an area with lots of trees/shade. The refrigerator section was at 32 deg and all itms were very cold to the touch. Meat and frozen vegetables stayed frozen, but not ice cream.
