Convection Oven fan

Well, another problem is the fan on the convection oven (Hotpoint). When the fan starts up when using the convection oven sounds like it is coming apart. Appears the fan is loose or blades are out of wack. It is very loud and can not hear the tv when using the convection part. Convection oven works just have a loud sound which appears to be the fan. Microwave operation seems to work okay without the noise. The outside vent is open.

What is going to happen next? Luckily, problems are not trip threatening yet!

Sorry, it is a Highpointe not Hotpoint. This camper seems to have brands I have not heard of. I am not talking about Thetford but Insignia tv and this convection oven.

Ours was obnoxiously noisy! We actually shut it off thinking something was falling apart, but once we restarted it the fan seemed to quiet down a bit. It's still not quiet though...

The Insignia is supposedly a house brand for Best Buy.

Convection microwave uses internal fan to move air around inside the cooking area while the fan switch on the microwave operates the "stove vent fan" that moves air from the stove area to the outside. That covered outside vent has two flappers, one plastic one that is part of the plastic cover and an aluminum one that is part of the microwave. If you look when the stove vent fan is on, you will see the plastic flap open, but the metal one only partially open due to hanging up on something. John
