Bedroom closet sliding doors

Ours is a 2014 3100 RL. The closet doors have never been right. They come off the tracks in transit; had the brackets replaced twice under warranty with no improvement. I have now replaced the original upper track and hardware with hardware from Home Depot, which is an improvement but still, the only way I know the doors will still be in place is if we fasten them open when traveling. Looking at the new models, I see that improvements have been made. Wondering if anyone has been able to improve the factory setup so the doors will stay in place or has upgraded to the system used on the new models???

Many threads have been posted about this, we fixed our with the metal replacement parts and bungy the doors open when traveling, no more problems. Its all a matter of what habits we teach our selves to perform when traveling. For those that wish to close the doors while traveling there may be a different solution. For us simple is always and least cost is always our best way forward into the future.

We always close and latch ours, so far no problem. I think our door tracks (2016)might be different from previous years.
