Blew up the black tank
I was using the flush king to back flush the tank, I'm assuming my vents must have been plunged don't really know what happened. But BOOM. Something near the front of the tank up top went. I pulled the under belly down and refilled up the tank, starts pouring out right above the wash out. On top of the tank. My unit is a 2012 343 RL, not sure if the tank needs to be replaced or can be fixed. Going to have it looked at on Tuesday. Where would I order a new tank if I have to? Any dealership here in the north bay will rob me.

I would think you're going to have to get one from a dealer in order to get the right size and exit position. On the other hand, if you know exactly what you need, you can order it from a company like this: http://tweetys.com/holdingtankblanks.aspx

Thank you for the info. Some one with this exact model would not have the same tank? Also do they all come with the tank sprayer? Or is that special order?

The tank model number should be on the tank. The tank will cost around 150.00 from Keystone plus shipping and a dealer will charge 90 to 125 $$ per hour to install.

yes sir, number is on the tank. my guess it split right along the seam, glue holds ABS doesn't. I did mine myself not all that hard, I also put three straps under each tank for support

We also had a flexible hose installed on the input and strapping under the tanks.

There is a warning, not to use the black tank flush with the black tank valve closed. sounds like you might have done just that. most of the folks here will close the valve for a few minutes to allow the tank to fill a little then open the valve again to drain. When doing this method, you must make sure you do not get distracted and pay close attention to the sound of the sprayer. If you can not hear the spray nozzle anymore, it is under water and you need to open the drain valve and let the water out before it burst. I know this information is to late for you know, but hopefully it will prevent the same mistake in the future.

Yup I am there with Jason. Though you don't mention it, a very important thing indeed to have the drains open.

This was not with the intank sprayer. It's a flush king. Where the black tank has to be open. I'm thinking maybe one of the flues might be plugged up? Should the tank ever pressurize? Also mentioned above, the tank can be glued or no? If it's at a seem?

You can try to glue it but in most cases the tanks are plastic welded if I'm not mistaken. Let us know what you come up with. One word or warning-- that tank is not clear of what goes into it even if you don't get anything but clear water from it. The exit valve is not in the bottom of the tank but on the side and up about 2" or so from the bottom. There is quite a bit of the "STUFF" in it yet so be real careful if you are going to take the tank down yourself.

I always close the black tank, that's the only way to be sure the entire tank gets flushed. Just have to be careful.
