Ice machine has its own place now

The DH fixed a new storage area for the ice machine!

I wanted our ice machine in a more permanent location (not on the counter top or in the basement) so the DH made a few modifications for me. He took the 3rd shelf out of the pantry, cut it in half, moved it backward and up to the bottom of the receptacle, drilled a hole in the shelf for the ice machine power cord, now there's a half shelf. On the bottom shelf, he used quarter round to frame the base of the ice machine to prevent any movement while we are going down the road. On the remaining half shelf, he made a cover for the front of the shelf from baseboard (to match the others) and installed it above the top shelf. Now I have 3 full shelves, 2 half shelves.

Thanks, it's was our first modification inside. We also added USB chargers on each side of the bed since our model did not have them.

Is there not a usb charger in the bedroom cabinet/hutch just left of the big bedroom window? You have an early 3610 like ours with the old bedroom configuration.

We have a washer/dryer combo sitting where you ice machine mod is but we will see if maybe we can make room for it on a shelf just above that.

Looks very nice. As Darwin says, I have to wash clothes in that spot, but it's a great use of the space if you don't.

Yes, there is a USB charger in the cabinet beside the bedroom television, but I look up "stuff" for awhile at night and am too lazy to get up to plug it in in the cabinet.

It is great that you have access to water right where the icemaker is.
