Tags are minor when you take into account vehicle and rig purchase/maintenance cost, insurance,, travel/site costs etc etc. But look at the adventures and folks you would have missed.

Just got tags on our 2012. $350.00. Insurance at 90k replacement $100.00 deduct $234..00 year. Now add Dually tags $850.00. Lol. That's the killer!

Tax and license fees were $4400.00 here in Cali. License should be about $350.00 for the next few years. I may get in trouble for saying this but why buy a trailer or RV of any kind and leave it sitting on the drive? Have had my Montana since December and have used it 5 times all ready.

You won't get in trouble with me for asking that, Willy a Bee. Our kids are still in school and husband & I both still work. We wanted to get our retirement rig while we still had income to pay it off, and we'll be using it for trips throughout each summer till we can retire and long-time.
