None of these rigs come with batteries. The battery installation is done by the selling dealer during the prep of the trailer prior to the sale. When signing the paperwork, a couple weeks prior to picking up our rig, the salesman indicated they were installing two batteries. I have since upgraded the two group 24 marine batteries to two group 27 ones of the same style, and we can easily go all night without a generator and still have plenty of juice in the morning.

Had the same problem in cold weather in Alaska in 2013. Dealers up there (Wasilla) sold me a 50 amp relay breaker exactly like the one in the factory system. About $7.00. Install it in parallel with the original. You only need 2 short pieces of wire and lug terminals. I called our original dealer in Portland Oregon and they said that is exactly the correct way. If you are using the Level Up in continually cold or below freezing temps you may also need to switch out the hydraulic fluid to Artic grade. Buy it at a John Deere tractor shop. Our system works perfect with the dual 50 amp breaker relays.
