water leaks
We have had our bedroom carpet get wet next to the bathroom wall. It has happened 3 times and there is no rhyme or reason to it. We have checked all the vents and pipes and can't find out where water is coming from. This is a 2010 36ft Montana. Has anyone else had this problem? It is wetter closer to wall, so makes sense it is coming down wall, but the bathroom has no water on the floor or closet. Any help would be apperciated.

What is the model of your Montana...that would help to zero in on the problem.

You might want to check your caulking on the roof and on the front cap etc.... took me forever to find the reason for a wet rug next to our bed I thought it was the slide seals..NOPE..it was a hole in the caulking on the downside of our front cap and the water ran it's course to the bedroom and closet

We also have a leak around the bedroom slide and the carpet gets wet when we have a strong driving rain coming against our drivers side of the 5'er. I have checked all of the side seals and the chaulking around the side they all look good. Guess I now need to move upwards towards the roof and check those too.

We have checked all of the caulking and we have had major rain and had no problem.... that is why I said it just doesn't make sense.

How about a leak in the shower pan (or seal between the glass front and the fiberglass shower wall) or from the connection where the drain hooks to the pipe going to the grey tank. Water coming from any of those places could end up on the bedroom floor on the other side of the wall.

X2 on Dick's comments. Also check the seals on the window on that wall to make sure you are not getting any water at that point. Also check where the awning is connected to the outside to make sure the top seal and all the screws are sealed properly.
We had an issue with the slide where water was being driven in at the bottom side seal because the seal was pushed out where the curved gutter was located on the bottom. I modified the gasket so it sits better and the inside is better protected from driving rain. See pics - http://s962.beta.photobucket.com/use...t%20Seal%20Fix
Also check your scare light to make sure it may not be leaking into the fixture.
Keep us updated as to what you find.
Good Luck!
Les

Reccommend checking the top edge of the approx 4 in wide moulding that runs across bottom outside face of slide. There have been many reports of similar wet ess from the silicone sealer failing there.
