WaxahachieTexas RV Parks?

Can anyone suggest an RV Park in Waxahachie, Texas? I will be there next weekend and need to find a place. I can't wait to pull the 5th wheel through Dallas(NOT!)
Thanks in Advance!
Phil

The closest park I can find to Waxahachie is the "Dallas Hi Ho RV Park" with an address of Glenn Heights, TX. About 14 miles away. TL rating of 6.5, 7.5, 6. The Texan RV Ranch in Mansfield, TX is about 18 miles away and is rated 8, 10, 7.5. The closest park where we have actually stayed in that area is Cedar Hill State Park which would be about 21 miles away. Of course we prefer state parks, generally, but the Hi Ho is much closer.

Wish I could suggest a route around Dallas, but that doesn't seem possible.

campgroundreviews.com only shows 1 RV park in Waxahachie and it does not get very good ratings. Can't add much anything else beyond what David said. Although if you look at rvparkreview.com under Waxahachie, there is another set of links for parks "near Waxahachie" and shows the distance. Might help.

Plan on Dallas either on a weekend or at mid day or mid night on a week day. If you avoid rush hours (about 6:00-9:30 am and 3:30-7:00 pm), you will probably not have too much of a problem unless there is an accident or road work. I-35E "usually" flows OK at those times. Unfortunately, they often schedule road work between 9am and 4pm also to avoid rush hour.

Phil,
Check this one out...relatively new and have heard some good comments. Lakeview Campground & Recreation Center...Phone 972-937-5291. It is about 6 miles from Waxahachie.
Good luck!
